335d LCI with Adaptive
Hi All,
This is my first post on here but I've used this forum for a long time as an excellent point of reference (especially on the 335d F30) I have this weekend just picked up the above after having some issues with my 2014 335d with adaptive. I just thought all you 335d owners may be interested to hear my initial thoughts. On picking up my car the first thing I noticed before driving it was that the gap between the wheel arch and wheel at the front was noticeably higher than the '14 Although this upsets the look a tad more than the 14 what I AM PLEASED to report is a much improved feel to the car, in fact I cant quite believe the difference. The whole care feels more ridged and taught, obviously I am yet to push her but even in comfort the car has a more M sport feel, more like e46/e90, very little roll in the corners, and in sport well that compares to an e60 M5 setup (comparing to cars I've owned), it can be a little bouncy but the turn in is so much better!! I think the fact that the Bridgestones have gone and been replaced by Goodyear Eagle F1s (still run flat) will also contribute. The only problem I have is that I'm Vain and I may have to lower the car at a later date if I cant live with the stilted look at the front. I will post some pics and let you know more as I spend some time bedding her in! Cheers |

Congrats. That is abnormally high. I'd get the dealer to look at it.

They have tweaked the suspension quite a bit for the LCI as so many, including myself, were unhappy with the way the car wallowed in the bends. Ill take a closer pic of the arch for everyones opinion |

That does look very high at the front, are you sure they haven't left the transport blocks in?
You could also post this in the UK section here: http://f30.bimmerpost.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=412 as that's where most of the 335d (and other diesel) owners go. |

Actually after looking at a couple of other LCI 335d's their arch gap I think looks similar to yours:

Worth asking an independent dealer to check for damage and ask your dealer to cover the cost (after they've removed them). If they are that incompetent I wouldn't be surprised if they missed it or tried to cover it up.

Jesus wept! It doesn't help that everyone expects a big arch gap with X drive making it harder to spot human error! Hope you get it sorted with minimal effort and you are compensated for your trouble!
