440is coming anytime soon?

So with the 435 ZHP limited to only 100 examples, does anybody have any information if a 440is will be produced for this generation like it was for last generation?

It would be nice to have a 440is with the DCT tranny along with some of the other usual upgrades. I would exhaust upgrade, suspension, interior trim, engine/software, maybe even color choices.

I believe the 440i LCI is expected by Summer 2016 (MY2017).

We should start seeing 440i Summer 2016 and the LCI summer 2017. If the LCI is coming summer 2016 we should start seeing some prototypes

No. The coupes are always behind the sedan.

Yup. Why do you think this? They made the ZHP although very limited. Curious to know why you don't think the 440is will happen.

Mainly because there has been zero talk about a 440is, both from reliable and unreliable sources alike. Some nugget of info would have surfaced by now. Also, including a DCT alone is ~$2900. Adding upgraded suspension, exhaust, MPPK, costlier wheels, etc will inflate the price to the mid-$50k range easily, if not more. Spending just $10k more gets you into a 6MT M4, a car superior to the 440is in every aspect, with exception of the transmission. I just have this gut feeling it's not in BMW's future development plans. Personally, it would be on my cross-shopping list.
