I had JL Audio CM-400 installed on the door panels. By the measurements they should have fit in perfectly. Recently I noticed my tint came off about where the speaker is located. Also a bit more towards the rear of the window. Anyone seen this or heard of this?

Not sure what the mounting depth of the JL's are. More than likely they were too deep.

What mounting depth measurement did you go by?

I mean:

- JL Audio C5-400cm
- Top Mount Depth: 41 mm
- Fits e90: Y (should fit comfortably, but no proof as of yet)
- Fits e92/93: Maybe (may require modifications to speaker grille and custom adapter)
