Oxidized Trim Solution
Permanent fix to the oxidized trim??
http://classictrimcoat.com/ Really easy to do, mask then wet sand with 1000 grit, then apply solution. Supposedly good for two years, stay tuned. Last edited by fmzip; 10-17-2015 at 03:23 PM.. |

Sounds crazy, but try aluminum foil and diet coke.
Fold the foil into a 4"x4" square, pour some diet coke on it and rub the wet foil onto the oxidized surface. I know it works to get rid of rust on chrome, and I'm betting it'd work on oxidation. references: http://lifehacker.com/5383384/polish...-foil-and-cola |
