Interchangable Exhausts?

Does anyone happen to know if the 235i rear exhaust box is the same as the 435i rear box? are they interchangeable?

Dont think they are the same but you might be able to get it to work with some modification

I have read that they are interchangeable, but Im interested if there is any benefit in sound?

My neighbor has a 428i with stock exhaust and it sounds better like the 435i muffler. The 235i is ways ahead and better, more growling and agressive.
