More Power!!!

So I hope this post doesn't piss anyone off! I currently am running jb4 (map 5), ER catless downpipe and AFE fully sealed Intake. Im looking to gain a bit more power and was wondering if there is anything out there that will help.

I know there are catback exhaust systems I can get but they do not really have that much of a gain.
I am not looking to get an aftermarket turbo
I also have looked into an FMIC and the pipping for it but was looking to see if there is anything else with good benefits!
Just wanted to see if anyone had any other suggestions or ideas! Thanks again guys/girls

Post your question in n54tech.com together with a log. Maybe a map6 solution can give a bit extra depending on your fuel

Are the Enzo/GSR flash tunes not more aggressive than Jb4 with just a catless DP and 91 octane?

FMIC will allow you to reach higher boost with less heat soak but gains on there own are hard to measure. Seems you need more octane if you want more power from where you are. Simplest would be to add some ethanol, or decent octane boost like NF. Half a bottle gives me 17-18psi on map 5, worth a look. Methanol injection is another option but requires a separate tank to run.

From what I have read and understand ENZO runs 15psi in their flash. I cant say what GSR is. Are they more agressive, I wouldnt say that but way more refined and smoother.

I'll be able to elaborate more on this next week sometime as I am currently running a JB4 map 2, but have a deposit down on the group buy and I am pulling out my ECU this weekend and shipping it Monday to ENZO.

As far as OP and getting more power, dont bother with exhaust unless its downpipes. Run meth, or go map 7 and race fuel.

I have the sport line. Would an FMIC even have that much access to incoming air through my bumper? I always was curious but felt it may be a stupid question

If course. Since you are in LA, better cooling in the intake air will help the power gain during hot weather.
Also, do E85 mix and that will gives you more power too.
Have you done EWG harness?

I don't know about ENZO, but GSR stage 1 is aggressive and refined. I've measured 20 psi. I'll be doing stage 2 soon since i have DP and a high flow exhaust. DP and full cat back system provide more power when it's tuned for your set up.

If you want more power and keep the jb4 look at stage 1 Pure turbo internals swap. Cheaper way is E85, highly recommended too.

You also have a manual lol, i dont know if its the same for manual. And like you mentioned you have a DP + Full cat back that helps incredible with power. How did you measure your psi ?

my friend with m235 has done 17 peak boost with enzo.
It's not all about the boost psi but the parameters and how the car feels, since no 2 cars are 100% the same.

Both GSR and Enzo are going to be refined, they're a flash tune and there's no better way to go. I was referring and comparing them to my jb4 which is pretty good, but has its days. Like I said it gets choppy and jerky at times.

True about the manual, but only difference is I can withstand higher torque numbers then a auto. Horsepower gains should be about the same. I used dash command to capture my data. 20 psi is the highest I've seen and 17 is about average for me too.

In regards to choppiness. I had this issue too and no codes were thrown so it made it really hard to understand the issue. The n20 guys were experiencing this too and they tried s55 plugs which apparently solved their problem. I swapped to a stepped plugs and it didn't fix that "choppiness". The fix for me, and this is going to sound like B.S, was topping off the coolant to the point where it basically was overflowing out of the reservoir. After that choppiness gone. Believe me I'm still perplexed on how that resolve that issue for me even though my reservoir said it was max.
