Jb4 help!

Quick question for anyone that has knowledge on this. Might be a noob question but whatever. I just got rid of my 2009 N54 and it was tuned with a Jb4 and I loved it. So obviously when I purchased my N55 a week ago the first thing I looked for was a Jb4 but don't really understand it for N55. There are two options, the N55 stage one or the E series N55 jb4. I have a 2011 and it says both fit my car but the E series adds way more power. So what the hell is the difference? Lol is the stage one kind of like the JB plus but for N55s?
Thanks to anyone that can help!

You're looking for the normal JB4, not the Stage 1. If you do go for the Stage 1, you'll likely find yourself upgrading to the normal board soon after. From a quick glance, it does seem that the Stage 1 would be the N55 equivalent of the JB+

For anyone that has the E series Jb4 what gains have you seen from it? Gains close to the N54?

Don't know about gains compared to n54--but on my 2011 the gain is substantial with JB4. I don't have dynos or charts but the car is a lot more fun to drive. I wouldn't even consider stage 1.

The problem is the turbo on the N55 is much smaller than the 2 on the N54. If you have E85 you get another nice bump with the flex fuel wires and E35.

That's doesn't sound right. Map 1 is a night and day difference over stock.

Can't believe you didn't feel a difference. Where did you get the 20whp? Is there a dyno on that?

The closest to Gilroy is San Jose. There are several stations in the bay area--I go to Redwood city.

I guess I could just fill up those tanks and bring some home then pour in my car?

Map 2 is for a catless downpipe, so that's suggesting additional mods - not just the JB4.

There's actually a few guys that do that--get a few gas cans go over to San Jose and you could get yourself a months worth of E85 assuming you use 4 gallons a week or less
