Car Cover for M235

Who has some nice car cover recs? I have a garage and a car port but my garage gets very hot and I am concerned that the heat might mess with anything adhesive. I am looking into options to cool my garage but it has no windows and is detached from my house. I have a studio connected to my garage with air conditioning. I thought about leaving rah studio door open that leads to the garage but that could get expensive. I live in San Diego, CA. Thanks.

How hot it is in your garage? The heat is coming from the sun, so the car in the shade will never get as hot as the car in the garage. I.e. it can get up to 130 F in the car parked outside. I doubt it will get over a 100F in the garage (we have plenty of 100 degree days here, but it is always cooler in the garage).

Also, you live in San Diego. Isn't it 75 F all year round there? ;-)

I would recommend absolutely anything from the California Car Cover Company.

I have their Noah for my 2 and absolutely love it. You can't go wrong with them.

They make indoor covers as well that are high quality. You may want to take a look at those for your own usage.

Thanks. Do you think this is better than the BMW one made for the 2 series? I want an indoor/outdoor version for the versatility.

I can't comment on that but I imagine the BMW one is a great cover as well. I just know that California Car Cover Co has been around for awhile and is well renowned with all the car guys I talk to.

I'm sure that either one would be a great choice.

I have a Cali Car Co Superweave car Cover for my 135i that I am selling...if it fits the 2 it would be perfect for what you want.

If not, CCC is the best cover company by far

I have a BMW on for another car, it's really good quality. Can't speak to fit for
the 235 as I have no experience but for the 330 it's spot on.

235 BMW branded cover is very good quality and very light weight.

Hey col4bin, what did you end up getting? Or thinking about? I'm down here too, out in east county with no garage and a brand new 228i. Sadly, she spends a lot of her time at the airport long term lot, I'm hoping to find something that might reflect any sun damage. (I will be building a proper garage shortly)
