Intermittant Non-Start Issue
Looking for some help/guidance here.
I have a 2009 335xi - had it since new. Roughly 96,000 miles on it. It's been an entirely reliable daily driver. About six months ago I bought an M4 Vert. Kept the E90 but haven't driven it as much. Will drive it more once winter hits. What I've noticed is that on a few occasions if the car sits for ~10 days without being started, it will sometimes not start (or even turn over) when I press the start button. Electronics come on, but no start. Almost as though the battery is low. Then I come back about 30 minutes later and the car starts normally. My garage thinks its just the battery. Does that make sense? Any idea what could be causing this? Note that this never happens if I'm driving the car regularly. Only if its been sitting for a while. Guess I should throw in a photo...

Had that happen to me. It likely is the battery and it's fairly cheap to replace. Take it to your neighborhood auto parts store and have them test it. It's usually free to test.
