Radiator fan not kicking in when ac is engaged
Hi there, this is not my first post about this issue with my '11 335i with N55, I have been dealing with this issue 5 months back, the main issue is that when I turn on the AC on my car the rad fan doesn't kick in immediately, especially when the car has been inactive for more than 6 hours. Here in Texas we got temps that reach the 107 degrees, so when I get into my car after a long day of work I just turn on the AC and the rad fan doesn't turn on immediately like my son's 07 328i and my wife's 09 X3 that both start to blow cold air almost immediately, in my case I need to get my car moving and eventually after 3-4 min the AC starts to blow cold air, then if I get home and restart the car 1 or 2 hours later and I turn on the AC the rad fan kicks in immediately, but then next morning the same thing, I need to get the car moving and after 3-4 min it starts to blow cold air. This past week the expansion valve and the AC compressor, along with the drier were replaced and the issue is still there. I really love this car but this situation get me nuts, any advice or anyone that have dealed with the same issue ? Thanks in advance !
