Help - can LCI halogen light AE’s be coded as DRL’s?

I have Carly, and have tried a number of coding options, I have the AE’s as active for DRL and have tried the EU customization option, but still no AE’s eliminated as my DRL

What am I missing?

Can typically get better response from the Carly thread in the Coding forum, but this is what worked for my LCI:

I had to have the following active:

DRL 1/2
DRL 2/2
DRL Key 2
DRL Key 3
DRL Key 4
US models selected
Angel eyes
Angel eyes brightness 'Very High'
Sidemarker
Corner LED
Corner LED brightness 'High'

On my EU 2011 LCI 330d with halogen, the options I set were:

Daytime running lights 1/2 - active
Daytime running lights – customization - Only additional lights (EU models)
Daytime running lights – angel eyes - active
Angel eyes brightness daytime running lights - high

The bottom line is that it seems you have to play with your settings... It took me several frustrating tries before I nailed down what worked for me (shown in my post). I don't know why it seems different for different cars.

you will also need to buy new bulbs for the AEs to be visible. As for the coding, sorry can't help. I had to ask someone else to do that.
