Possible Power Steering Problem
So I've been having this problem with my power steering. When the car is parked or moving very slowly, there is a loud popping noise as the wheel turns. I'm going to post the link to the video I recorded of the noise.
The car is an e92 335i. Hopefully someone on here could guide me in the right direction to getting rid of this annoying and embarrassing noise. Thanks for any help in advance |

Sounds like your pump is bad to me.
That rattle when you hit full lock is when the pump experiences the most load. I just posted a thread on this. http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1178301 I'd make sure it's not a weird rattle of something working itself loose, but I think you're most likely in need of a new pump. |

Fluid level is always the first thing to check.

A manual transmission can be set to "comfort", "sport", and "track" modes simply by the technique and speed at which you shift it; it doesn't need "modes", modes are for manumatics that try to behave like a real 3-pedal manual transmission. If you can money-shift it, it's a manual transmission. "Yeah, but NO ONE puts an automatic trans shift knob on a manual transmission."
