Hello all,

Was it a good price to ask for this MPPK install. Already have the kit, working with crevier, hearing some people paying in the range of $200-$250 and then a jump with certain dealers.

Located in Southern California, Orange County .

I've seen 150, that being said 18 extra dollars is not bad at all.

Went to Crevier Bmw in Santa Ana, 168 or so install cost. They were a little backed up, gave me a loaner, was done in a few days.

Thanks I got a quote from crevier for $171 which I think is pretty fair.
Making an appointment for next week.

Nice, post your impressions of the mppk after install, might have to wait a thousand miles or so. Mine woke up a little later it feels like. Some felt right away.

My car only has 800 miles on it right now.
So after you got yours installed you couldn't feel any difference?
But at this point can you say it's worther?

Totally worth it. I felt it a little later in mid range, car had 10k on it. You get so much more too, the boost noise through the hole in the air box, fast shifts, exhaust burble etc

What is the MPPK that you can get done at a dealer for under $200? Sign me up... please explain

did mppk install at Crevier as well a couple months ago, quoted an hour's labor ($168) and for some reason they let me use the 10% off coupon/discount you get for checking in on yelp (tip, ask at the register when you pay instead of your SA… I didnt tell you that shhhh)… no complaints here

pkancel read all about it here… in short its a tune from the factory for the 335i that gets you more power, among other things

I will try it at the register next week.
So far Crevier has given me the best qoute, they seem to be pretty honest with that.
I got a qoute from my house dealer which is Long Beach BMW $499 just for labor and I told them to wait for my call to make an appointment.
Ron from Crevier even offered me a loaner car while they do the installation .

Is there any difference in the exhaust sound when the car is idling?
I just love the sound of the exhaust when I turn the car on.
My previous car was a f30 328i and I can tell you there's a huge difference between them.

As far as idle goes the sound is the same, its when you drive around in sport/sport and let off around 2-3k when the extra burbles from mppk kick in, you'll fall in love instantly
for me at least, even driving out of the service area slowly I felt the car was instantly more responsive, even in comfort mode.

That is jus the labor for install the MPPK plus programing.
