8.5" ET20 on pre-LCI E92?
Debating if I can make this work with a 235 or 245 tire and added camber from M3 front control arms. I'm on coilovers and dropped to no fender gap but not tucking. Looking at a potential track setup.
What's the most aggressive you guys run on these coupes with a 8.5" front and a decent tire while being dropped? Last edited by dbworld4k; 09-16-2015 at 02:44 AM.. |

I'm using 8,5 ET22 on front with 225\40 tyre (hankook v12). M3 arms, camber is -1,3.
Rubs sometimes because of drop, but you can defentely use narrow 235 tyre and it will rub the same (not more). http://www.e90post.com/forums/showpo...9&postcount=19 It' won't rub with sport suspension and maybe with eibach springs.

I had a 225/35 on a 8.5 +15 that was flush no rubbing at all and -0.8 camber. Lowered on coils. Since yours is +20 you have 5mm more room. You would be able to run 235/35 easily, 245/35 you might need to slightly camber more. Please let me know if you have any other questions about fitment.

Why do you think that E92 and E90 has different room for front wheels? Proof?
I saw many e92 and e90 setups with agressive fitment and they all have similar parameters. IN FRONT.

e90 has metal front fenders. Coupes are plastic. You can't roll the fenders on the front of coupes, you CAN on e90s, so regardless, you can squeeze more out of a sedan than a coupe by rolling the fenders.

It's truth only for hardcore stance setup, because first problem is fender liner and one of bumper mounts, not the fender by itself.
