Is there coding needed to install an antenna diversity module? In the little info I can find online, I haven't seen reference to coding.

Background - 2006 E91. One day the non-comfort access keyless stopped working. It worked in the morning, didn't work when I got to work. FM/AM reception was fine.

I replaced the module with a new one. The keyless still doesn't work and now there is no FM/AM reception. I swapped the original module back in and the keyless doesn't work and now the FM/AM reception is gone.

What did I screw up?

Thanks. One important item I left out of my original post is I DO NOT have comfort access. Just regular old keyless entry.

You did not screw up anything, you just moved wires. I highly doubt that there is a problem with your diversity module. To check if it works unplug the antenna wire and just put a straight piece of wire to center antenna connector of the module if you get reception it's not the module just broken wires. Common problem on E91 and E61 search the forums and google.

no diversity module shows up in Inpa functional jobs
that I see so I would assume not . And I have read about
it in any of the diversity module threads.
