Maybe he bought it new, abused the hell out of it at 24k miles of track days, then traded in to a Chevy dealer before it showed obvious wear, and they couldn't tell the difference!

MSRP for the M4 starts at $66,395.

$64,844 doesn't seem like a particularly good deal for a last years model with 24,412 miles.

You are making an assumption he traded it in at the Chevy dealer. Most used cars at dealerships are from auction.

Why sad? The new Corvette is a slight upgrade over it. Its not about the badge, its about the car.

If I traded in my 328i for an STI would that make you sad too?

A guy I know just did this exact thing, with the exact color, I wonder if that's his lol he traded it for a truck, so he could pull the boat he bought a month after buying the M4 lol

I am thinking about trading in my E93 335is for an STI, but only because I changed jobs and want AWD for the snowy commute.

This! And also a Chevy dealer would buy a bright red BMW because it'll bring people inside. Since of course, the Chevy Sonic isn't helping their sales much.

Most used cars at dealerships are from auction. __________________ A manual transmission can be set to "comfort", "sport", and "track" modes simply by the technique and speed at which you shift it; it doesn't need "modes", modes are for manumatics that try to behave like a real 3-pedal manual transmission. If you can money-shift it, it's a manual transmission. "Yeah, but NO ONE puts an automatic trans shift knob on a manual transmission."
