Need WHEELS for your Snow Tires in DC?
Need wheels for your Snows?
I have the WHEELS only from from a dedicated set of 'snows' formerly mounted with Blizzaks and used on a 2006 E90 for one season (the Blizzak snow tires were just recently pulled for use on our MINI). This is a set of TireRack's Sport Edition A7 17 x 7.5 Silver WHEELS ONLY with No tires - suitable for someone looking to purchase and permanently mount your own dedicated snow tires on them - clearly a more economical approach than the $100+ mounting/unmounting every winter and spring. Note that the A7s that TR now sells are for an E46 fitment, and they may not even sell these E90-specific A7s anymore. But these wheels were definitely purchased for, and mounted without issue on our 2006 E90. Pics below, first with stock Style 162 Sport package 18" wheel and then with the 17" A7. I think (but am not positive) that the offset is 32mm for these wheels (vs. 40mm for the E46 flavor). The wheels were purchased from TireRack in 2011 - used only one season - but they do have some scratches (care of an idiot at the tire shop) and are not perfect. That said, they are definitely more than suitable for snows. Tire Rack still sells the E46 version here - again note that the wheels I have are the 17" version: http://www.tirerack.com/wheels/Wheel...1&autoModClar= They're packed and ready to go. No hub ring needed with these wheels on an E90, but TR shipped new replacement lug bolts and those will be included. original Sport Edition Center Cap included - your stock BMW cap will fit if desired. About $500 new in 2011 with shipping from TR. Looking for $275, picked up in Zip Code 21114.
