i have an o6 325i wich has the faulty led radio. i was wondering if i can swap my radio for a 2007 - 2008 328i. does it make a difference if its not the exact year?

Its not the year that is so important up to 2010 but
Yes it does unless they have the same options
The radio is programmed for things like PDC , SOS, bluetooth and ipod and
more importantly the sound system type.(there are three types)

Its easier to get the lcd repaired or attempt the radio repair diy
for the screen. If you send it out for lcd replacement make sure they give you the same one
back.
