The warranty expired and I was thinking whether or not it is better to buy the extended warranty or just not buy it at all. Also, if I do decide to buy the EVP, does it need to be inspected?

Are there anything else I should be particularly careful of for this model?
What are your experiences in owning/maintaining the car?

I would buy BMW extended warranty if it's for less than $2k. Otherwise I'll just save my money since the car has only 27k miles. It's 328i, pretty solid engine.
