Clip that holds the halogen high beam bulb in sprang off into the unknown...

Cant' find it on real OEM and the dealership is telling me the only way to buy it is to buy a headlight housing.

Tell me it isn't true!

Anywhere else I can get one!?!?

Either ebay or a parts recycler is your best option here. You could buy a damaged headlight housing and then only use the clip. Or call a BMW specific parts recycler. I'm sure they can find a damaged headlight housing and only sell you the clip.
