Just got my RC Ultimate and it is currently S2 = B, S1 = 1. I spoke with Paul at RC USA who told me that that default setting is the output advertised on website (25%+ hp & tq).

Was curious as to what others have their settings on? And if you guys got the auto-detect unit where you can connect either connectors into the MAF & Manifold Inlet?

Thanks!

Haha. Maybe you should Racechip it.

Seriously, though. Appreciate it if someone who has RC can chime in.

😂😂 noooo then it'll be too fast lol.

Honestly I wish I could help, but I don't have any experience with them. I'm just bored trolling the forums.

I left mine on B for two full tanks of gas then upped it to C. C provided a nice bump in power over base settings and kept it smooth. I would not advise going higher than C unless we had a way to data log.

Thanks for sharing.

I kinda went a little overboard, perhaps. Cranked it to E after after maybe 20 miles. Been great so far. Man, that top end pull is ridiculous for a $600 tune. Haven't noticed any jerkiness...I'm running 92oct + BMS Intake.

I'm at D right now and enjoying the performance. I did put it up to 6 and slowly backed down from there. lots of top end surging so I don't advise. power in first - third gear was awesome though. idid find 0 to be fairly consistent but a little jerky with power delivery. I'd like to bump it up a bit more but will give it the rest of the gas tank before doing so.

I've ran as high as 4 for a month in February (tried each setting), but i was paired up with OBDLINK LX (dongle) connected bluetooth to android and data logging every run and every time i was in the car, to monitor temps, boost, etc
Currently on F and my fav. anything above 0 needs a downpipe, to help.
Although now I'm on a Flash Tune w/ Custom DP so I wonder what my 1/4 mile times will be on this.

You cranked up pretty fast lol, in the winter i did after 50miles but now in the humid summer only after a tank.

Most ppl prefer F as the best balance of power increase from B.

So the hp gain as advertised is achieved? 378hp? or 401hp with newer model f30?

I drove mine at standard B1 setting, and the power boost was unmistakable and exhilarating (which I was expecting, having read nothing but good things about Racechip).

5km later, I promptly changed to the highest setting (E2) with 98 octane . The extra boost was obviously not as great as stock vs setting 1, but noticeable nonethless.

Old story, but FWIW, my experience is that comfort mode now feels like sports mode without the jerkiness, and sports mode feels like a different engine altogether! Car just feels light and nimble. Yet to try sports+/manual + DSC off.

A couple of unexpected bonuses: overall engine operation feels much smoother at all rpm/gear/drive mode regimes, and idle is also much lower (600rpm now vs around 850 previously).

Loving this upgrade. It's like getting a higher end model for just $750AUD. Worth every penny!
