MOTIV tune

Just saw a recent post on FB of a guy with an N55 who got a protune by Jake at MOTIV, was just curious who else has their protune? Care to share your experiences with us

Jake used to be one of the PTF employees. I would imagine the quality of their pro tune is comparable to PTF's.

PTF has done a lot with the N55 it seems if not the most. A buddy of mine just got his N55 tuned by them and his car runs so much stronger than before.

Got mine Cobb stage 1+ eTune from PTF, have the feeling of moving from stock to stage1

Jake is a good tuner. Like JB said he used to be with Dzenno at PTF. He started my tune but then left PTF for Motiv, and Dzenno finished the tune. Jake was the reason I went with PTF in the first place, because the guy who runs my Indy shop recommended him. He actually kind of flaked on me (took a long time to send new maps after I sent him logs, tune was taking forever) but I understood because he also had a day job and a family in addition to his work at Motiv. Last year after he left PTF he told me that he was focusing on hardware development at Motiv more than tuning. If he is back in the tuning business (and has time for it now) that is good news.

As others have mentioned, Jake used to be with PTF before going to Motiv.

I use a PTF Protune (done by Dzenno at PTF) and am quite happy with it. I previously used a JB4. I think a protune is a must have if you have multiple mods.
