You can't use snow chains on sporks pack tires.. you need to get a set of 17". I have 330i sports pack, I bought an extra set of rims and snow tires (225/45/17 conti winter sport). the car drives great in snow with snow tires. I only had to use snow chains once due to the CA law and need to get through multiple chain control check points on I80 Lake Tahoe area. Other than that, I was able make it through a few heavy snow falls in Tahoe without chains.
