HiFi to HK

Evening,

Does anybody know if it would be possible to upgrade a Loudspeaker Hifi system to the HK system on the F30/1?

Many Thanks

Yes but the cost will be huge, and the install will be complex including running new optical cables for the MOST loop.

Much better to go with the Gladen speaker kits with a Mosconi amp!

Ok thanks. I was just wondering if a dealer would be able to do this or if it would require a whole new wiring harness

Dealer wouldn't do this I don't think, they'd offer an Alpine upgrade install instead. It's one of those things where you should spec from factory, or if buying used, make sure its on the option list!

It depends which options, some have an official retrofit kit! For example both front & rear PDC, speed limit info & BMW Live.

Interesting!

Yet again, confused information from dealers and BMW UK.
Neither really seem to know about the product they sell ?
