Dynavin is still the only one with a Top Hi fi adapter
Dynavin N6 is still the only one with a Top Hi fi adapter
as far as I know.(and that is something you will need if you have a 330 as Top Hi Fi L7 or HK comes standard with the 06 330) Unless of course you want to get all new amplifiers. We are now on android 5.0 on most android phones. Dynavin did an Android version don't know how that went. Unless something has changed the N6 is the only one that fits nicely in the space available. Dynavin supports PDC, rear view camera ,data readout of some engine parameters. Not clear if this does. In the N6 the dynavin has tried to upgrade there audio hardware using Burr Brown Dacs and other Hi quality audio components. It also has time delay. Last edited by ctuna; 08-11-2015 at 02:42 PM.. |

The above posters pretty much explained it. This stuff goes back years. In general the android stuff is apples and oranges when compared to the dynavin. Dynavin (partially with my urging) went away from the android stuff years ago to focus on making a better car stereo. Read the FAQ on my website for a better understanding of what the dynavin is vs. what the android units are.

The Dynavin looks nice but couldn't afford it so I've just bought the new Eonon GA5165F Andriod 4.4 job as it was only £277 from China and it only took 3 days to get to UK.
Had it installed about a day, only using basic functions so far and for the money I paid I'm quite impressed, seems much better than the D5165 I've had in the past. I don't like they way the corners stick out at the bottom but I've heard a few people have sorted this with a bit of modifying. Will post more feedback after everything setup properly Feel free to ask any questions |

Maybe it will address some of the small concerns with the first gen model, and add an HD radio; perhaps expand its graphic EQ to the number of bands offered by the OEM, logic 7 head unit. I think this model has been out for 14 months, so that's why I guess I am asking the question. I am sort of shocked and puzzled that more of the car/ audio world manufacturers have not tried to copy the Canbus box, which allows you to switch out the head unit when you have logic 7 with few problems (SOS) or any concerns. A company like Alpine or Pioneer would certainly sell more units if they did. |
