The options you just can't do without...

Everytime you get a new car with some different options that your old car didn't have, you start to wonder how you ever got along without them. Or, there are always a few things that make your car really stand out from the rest--things that let you know that the car is really yours. Which options/packages do you think are absolutely necessary on the new E90? This poll should give a potential buyer a good idea as to which options are an absolute must.

Select the options/packages you have already ordered or would order to be included on the 2006 E90.

My guess is the sports package will come out on top. It's a sports sedan afterall and I think most people who visit the forum are enthusiast who want performance out of this car.

Sports package is the only absolute necessary option IMO. BUT, if you're planning on changing to aftermarket suspension and wheels then it may not even be that necessary since all you'll get extra are the sports seats and fancier steering wheel?

I agree. I'd like to have my car fully loaded if money was no object. But I'll admit, even if I could buy everything, there are some options I REALLY don't need, like the park distance control, active steering/cruise control, or even AWD. If you would build your car with everything, then vote for everything. But I'm just looking to see which ones seem to be really hot, and which ones no one really even cares about either way. Thanks, and keep the votes coming!

It's true that if money was no object it'd be nice to have a fully stacked car, but I also think the more electronic gadgets you get on the car, the more likely something will require repair. The s2000 for example is a very bare care by today's standards and I've yet to have to take it in for anything involving electronics.

Seems like active cruise control and active steering (which I would not get even if I had the money to spare) are the least desired options so far...

what about other options like the 162 18" or the lumbar support,
as these are not standard on all cars, and a car looks rather stupid in the standard 16" rims

We need separate polls for euro vs. USA, and 325 vs. 330. The USA 330 has a bunch of the options standard.

The results are very different from what sells at the dealers. Most come with steptronic, and many more with premium than sport. I guess we are a biased sample...

Xenon lights are a necessity compared to halogen; I'm surprised they're not required by law--you can see more.
