Anyone have a recommendation for a decent installer in the Tampa Bay area to install a Performance Exhaust on a 2012 e92 328i coupe. The couple I talked with said 2-3 hours $230 or more which seems high. Had one installed on my old e90 for a $100 at Lutz Performance, but they are no more and took an hour!

Got a great deal $799 for a brand new with free shipping from a dealer on ebay.

Check out European Performance and German Tech. I have used both and both do good work. I think their hourly rate is $95.00 if I remember correctly.

Also check out Rennen Imports. Honestly it's just an exhaust, any shop should be able to install it in around an hour

There is a DIY for performance exhaust install. You should be able to rent the tool and DIY. Assuming it has clamps and no welding is needed.
Look up Tampa Bimmer on Facebook, a lot of us are on there, and you should be able to find a lot of help and resources from there. Someone might be able to help you install it too.

There is a shop in Brandon that a lot of guys in the group goes to. And the price is very reasonable. HMU if you need any more details.

BTW, Lutz performance splitted, and became Tuning Dynamics, and Fab Factory.
Tuning Dynamics is run by Andrew, and Fab Factory is run by Jim.
They are the same people from Lutz Performance.

Another popular muffler shop is called Mad Hatters mufffler shop on Waters Ave. I got muffler work done there too.
But the muffler shop in Brandon would be my choice. If I can find out the name I will let you know. It's on 60.

go to mad hatters, it'll be cheaper than any euro shop.... All of the exhaust work I've had done on the 335i and x5 has been done there

Thanks for all the info. Yeah I thought about DIY since it clamps on, just a pain without a lift to get under it, especially since it's an M-Sport, so it sits lower and harder to get up on ramps...lol

Thanks for all the info. Fedex delivered my new Performance Exhaust yesterday and arranged with Andrew at Tuning Dynamics in Holiday, FL to do the install since did my old e90 exhaust years ago.

They did a great job and got me out in no time (after letting the exhaust cool down...lol).

Definite improvement and fun to drive...

I wouldn't mind creeping on that dealer for a similar deal.

Got it by searching the part number on ebay and hit on bmwmorristown $799 + free shipping!!

They only had one showing, but who knows. Just keep your eyes peeled. Patience pays off as I saw some others wanted $750 for a used one and you still needed to buy the clamps which adds $50
