Is adaptive led headlight fully enabled in canada ?

Hi everyone !

I'm picking up my m4 in August.

Just curious if the adaptive led equipped on Canadian cars fully enable with beam split and etc functions or is it like the USA spec car with only high-beam assistance enabled.

Thank you

it will be the same as US Spec. I've been reading the coding discussions and it seems like it's still ambiguous what combo of options you need in order to have the necessary hardware to activate via coding.

Thank you for the respond.

I was going through a similar thread in the general function and found out that it needs to be coded. Now more thing to worry about before my car arrives haha.

believe you need the tech package to have the correct cameras and sensors for coding later.

Adaptive LEDs are active in Canada. But just as in the US, they only swivel around bends. You can code Variable Light Distribution (VLD) for the low beams and Anti-Dazzle High Beams (ADHB) for the high beams.

However, as alvinsl posted, you will need the Tech Package, if only for the stupid little button on the turn signal stalk. Since I have Speed Limit Info, I have the required camera. But since I don't have the stupid little button, I cannot code the ADHL .

Is there a clear way to code now? I have the tech package (but not speed limit info) and would try to get this coded if I can....

This is the best "how-to" guide I know of:

Check with E92LNYCGY. I coded his car for this, but was never sure if it worked for him

I didn't check the tech pack option, so I can't test this for myself.
