H&R Springs + Dinan Bumpstops

I posted a thread about having a squeeking noise coming from my front drivers side after H&R Sport Springs install and it was suggested to cut my bump stops...any thoughts on replacing them with the dinan bumpstops rather than cutting them?

It's the same concept... you are just shortening your bump stop to prevent collision. If you are really that concerned.. save a lot of money and just buy another pair of OEM bump stops and cut them.

you're looking at about 6 hours of labor to install those overpriced bumpstops...cut em and forget it.

Thanks for the input!

To be honest though...i really dont know much about modding suspension....or modding in general...trying to learn though

with that being said...any tips on the actual cutting the bump stops part?

How much do i cut? Amount of the drop?

Do i cut from the top? bottom? doest it matter?

can i cut it with everything installed? (minus the wheels obviously) or do i have to take the top hat off?

Thanks again!

I think I got the same squeeking noise after installing springs, it comes not every time, but I can hear it from time to time. It is not that annoying, but I am wondering if it can be a case of any further problems with suspension?
