E92 320i or 320d ?

I am thinking to buy a coupe 3 series soon...

Because of the price I am now concentrate on 320d or 320i models...Here we do have 320 d as 177 hp and 320i as 156 hp ... the 0-100 km values are 7,9 and 8,9 sec...

Now here is my question, which one would you choose ? For me, diesel word sounds so weird when thinking a coupe sports car... on the other hand, 320i gives me 14 hp less power and 1 sec less acceleration.... will that differ too much?? Do you think 320i will be slow??

Also I am in between to buy either AW or montego blue exterior.... and for the interior I am thinking coral red or saddle brown...those 2 colors will be great with AW Iam sure but whats ur opinion montego on coral red interior?

If you can help me with 2 subjects I ll be happy..

I am also planning to have M sports package, but do guys you think M suspension and sports seats will be uncomfortable especially for the intercity travels?

Thx

Diesel all day long. Re-map and you will be with Civic Type-R's and Focus ST (2.5 turbo) all day long.

I have a 320i, 170hp, 0-60 8.1. Which 320i are you looking at with 156hp? Do you not get the same one as we do in the UK?

I have driven both the 320i and 320d and they are obviously both very different.

The 320i revs much higher and you really get a feel of when you need to change gear and feel much sportier to drive. However, the extra torque in the 320d does make it feel like a much more powerful car however it does feel like it needs to rev much higher and you will no doubt find yourself hitting the limiter a lot until you get used to it.

0-60 there really is very little between them both and I think that if driven correctly, the 320i seems to be a little quicker.

You do of course get better mpg with the diesel and you have the option of a tune which would give you much more hp and torque and would really give you a totally different car, but no matter what, its still not a 6 cylinder and it will always sound like a diesel, but having said that, the ED 320i that I have has a very noisy engine.

I think if i could have chose again now which one to get, it would be VERY hard for me to choose. I would suggest you take both out on a very long test drive as only you can decide for sure.
