Palmer Motor Sport Experience
I just got back from the track on Sunday and it was a big disappointment. My car was the slowest of them all. Even a stock Subaru WRX walk all over me.
The car is on A/S tires and it horrible with it! I wish I have gotten the RWD instead of the X Drive. This is great street car but not so much for the track. I will probably go again soon and get a set of new tires to see if this will make any differences. The A/S tires is garbage for the track. |

Was it your first time at the track?
The AS tires are terrible, but if you're starting off then it keeps the limit low so you don't kill yourself. Grippy summer tires will make a world of difference. I can't even tell you how much of a difference it's made from switching from AS to MPSS tires. In a way I'm disappointed because getting the car to break loose is nearly impossible now without substantial hooning involve.

Give it time and don't give up. For most people, it takes a long time to get fast on the racetrack. Get some good instruction and be patient.
