Ram Intake home made

I had already mod the air box to the euro mod.
And I was looking for something like the dinan ram.
but no way I will spend 500$ for that
so here's my 15$ version.

First
opening the bumper grill
Using a drill and dremel

Next
place the 4in pvc tube
and put back the grill

Then cut the air box
dremel, jb weld and rtv

Then put everything back
use a pvc tube coupling

Voilą!

Very similar to the Dinan setup, however Dinan has a lower box that is connect to the brake cooler feed the tube to the intake. Should work about the same though. How big is the hose?

This is great work. This is exactly how the Dinan version works at 1/10th the cost. Great job on this.

I try to follow your idea with that dinan mode, but I had very hard time to take that lower grill out. Damn I even unscrewed bottom of the bumper and still couldn't take that small shitty grill out lol. Mine looks little bit different than yours.Half of the grill mash is already open for brakes ventilation and it's separated from other part which is blocked next to fog light. From what I checked it will be hard for me to fit anything bigger than 2,5" there. I guess I need to drill the holes while the grill is on bumper.
Btw. What you used around the hose to seal it ?? Silicone ?

I suggest you to cut out all those XXXX on the grille and superglue a intake tube plate on the grille. I tired to take my grill off the m sport bumper what a pita

Any thoughts on 3" inlet and hose vs 4"? I'm thinking there may not be room for 4" but I haven't pulled my car apart to check clearance.

I tried to fit 3" and 2" and let's be honest 3" I can fit only under headlight next to lower grill, but 3" and even 2" can't fit in intake. Not enough space to make right angle there, so I trying to make this little bit different way. I guess LCI e91 has less space around headlights.
