JB1 on M235

Hi
I was wondering whether the JB1 would provide and significant power improvements on the M235, given it is already up on standard N55 outputs.
Cheers

JB1, I assume you mean the stage1?

Yes would give you a nice simple to install tune with some significant gains. We have bunch of m235 guys running it or the full blown JB4 with great success.

Now that the jb4 can be run through the obdii, I'd go with that. Even map 1 is a torque monster.

Yes the stage 1 will provide significant power increase. Burger tuning show an increase of ~35 whp and ~40 wtq

Sorry, the obdii is used instead of splicing into the canbus. Still requires 3 connections and the power/ground (PWG), and about 20 minutes.

Hi
Thanks for the replies.
So, does the JB4 use the obd in the driver's footwell?
If so, how would I connect a digital vent gauge as well?
( if I chose to run the JB4 instead of the stage 1)
Cheers

Yes it connects into the footwell. With the OBD connections you can't use a vent gauge. If you want to use the vent gauge you can use the post taps that connect the can system in the engine bay.

Hi Steve,
If you are using P3 cars gauge, they now offer a solution where you can use both.

If you intend on modding further then just the tune, consider the JB4.

Most people don't intend on modding further and just want the tune but after you feel the potential you'll want to upgrade further
