Independent Servicing on PCP
Just been quoted £280 for first oil service.
Seems a hell of a lot for just an oil change (Yes I know it's BMW and known for being expensive) Car is on a 3 year PCP deal, can you go to independent BMW specialist for the servicing on PCP or does it state the servicing must be by a main dealer? |

As long as the right oil and genuine BMW approved parts are used and the service is done as per BMW recommendations, there should be no problem. Have you shopped around? Assume this quote is from Partridge at CF?

That seems very expensive. This is why ServiceInclusive was a must for me!
Have you check BMW UK website entered your REG and see prices? I have booked using this method before and most times prices quoted online are cheaper than the dealers themselves. https://www.bmw-service.co.uk/ |

There was no real need for me to get the service pack as this will probably be my only service with the vehicle. I tend to get a new car every 2 years.

Try Snows Portsmouth, speak to Nick. He was always very helpful when living in Hampshire. If you get a quote from an 'indi' using genuine parts some dealers will price match. Worth a go
