Cleaned my wheels....big reccomndation!

I cleaned my OEM wheels today as I washed her....a 2009 335i with sport package...basic Oems. I may be new to this game but the "magic eraser" by Mr. Clean is flat out sick! I DK the technology but that thing will clean virtually anything off your wheels....

Just trying to help...GL

Great call! I have Dupont spray wax so that would be the ticket!

I always wash with Dawn dish washing detergent, clay bar and then rewax at the end of each season. If they need a little touch up, I do it before the wax. I know they are good to go when it feels like they are oiled after the wax. Nice and slippery.

The Magic Eraser is basically like a very fine sandpaper. If you use it too much you will scrub through the clear coat on the wheels.

this for sure. and for you guys using hard soaps (i.e. dial dish soap) it will also eat the clear coat as well.
