Alcantara/Cloth Msport option

I see from the UK LCI specs that there is an alcantara option with MSport as an alternative to Dakota Leather.

I assume this is the cloth/Alcantara shown on the Belgium configurator? Looks nice but shame it isnt a leather/alcantara mix

Had an Audi S3 in the 90s and loved a blue alcantara seat with black leather side bolsters. very classy.

Is it the same cloth alcantara fabric that is available on the 1 series M Sport? It's a really nice combo.

Gets my vote I would have chosen that option had it been available on the 4 series

Agreed. I think it's a nicer option to standard hippo hide which is cold in winter and red hot in the summer.

Ooh. Does look nice. Will need to see in the flesh to choose over dakota. Leather is timeless. My last Beemer looked even better after five years with leather. Improves with age.

Garage List
It's the 1 series interior.

Does look more modern and I believe alcantara is a third lighter than leather.

Alcantara on the sides will usually wear away and go shiny. If it's in the middle of the seat it usually wears much better.

had similar on the e90 M sport. While the standard leather on 335i is nice woudl have not minded sticking with this setup as feels and holds you better in seat

Noooo! Wrong way!

Alcantara seat and back, leather sides is the right combo. Otherwise sweaty back and ass in summer still happens!

Exactly why I chose it. I've had Alcantara on quite a few cars now and it always wears well, even at 150K the Alcantara on my 850 T-5R was still nice, and that was the same way round as the BMW option.
