I'm thinking of giving a ED to my son as a present and would like to know a few things about it.
Is it specific to a model? We are on the list for the upcoming M2. How does the price affects the ED in the total price? Is it something that the dealer will handle during price negotiations? Do I have to let the dealer know ahead of time? I know about the insurance and drop off locations but don't know specifics to the order. Anyone with any experience or tips would be greatly appreciated.

Go over here:
http://www.bimmerfest.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=25 Tons and tons and tons of information. Search first to find your answers. Then post to the Forum for the questions you cannot find. [hint: if you do that in reverse order, you'll receive more ridicule than help] I've done it twice, and cannot imagine ordering a BMW any other way. 2012 M3 Cab and 2014 328i 4dr. Oh, and since it's relatively close to your locale, also consider doing the Performance Center Delivery, too. http://www.bimmerfest.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=136 - V .
