Reply to text messages not working

When I try to reply to a text message, the only option that appears when I click "Reply" is "Forward".

Forwarding the text message does work but I'd like to be able to "Dictate Text" as the screenshot indicates (although it's not enabled)

Has the Extended Bluetooth option 6NS enabled and does receive texts and will read them out too.

I couldn't get the reply to work back when i tried... it was grayed out...

I remember people were just using the steering button to enable siri and reply through siri

Update:
I was able to get the car to reply to a text message today with my Samsung Galaxy S4.
I had just had the car read a text message that I received and after that was done, I hit the "S Voice" on the phone.
The car came back with an "external interface"? message of some sorts and after that I was talking to my phone via the car.

The only thing I think you need is you have to have the phone in hands free mode.

I will determine the exact steps needed and update this thread.
