Small update on the E90 facelift..

This photo was included in a set of Z4 spyshots, take a look at the nose of the E90 facelift.. you can more clearly see the new bumper and E92 grills that will be on the E90 facelift

Why don't they just redesign the front to look like the new E90 M3?

as mentioned many times before, because BMW has said that they want to distinguish the E90 M3 from regular E90s

dude it looks so much bigger than current Z4.

I read it'll be much bigger than current Z4(magazine said they thought it was Z8)..

did they drop hardtop and decided to go with softtop? or is that a hardtop

Looks great with that front. I didnt even consider a sedan because i didnt like the way the front bumper/grill went together...I saw a photo somewhere of a sedan with a coupe front, and it looked great. kind of like this...

I don't think the bumpers will line up correctly along inferior border of the headlights, as they are different shapes. If the headlights were different...then it would have been no problem.

Love it. Expecially in black sapphire. So you had to replace hood, bumper, fenders, lights and grilles? Anything else?

That just about sums it up (there are some minor internals that you need, like the xenon brackets, and wheel well covers, etc). In addition to parts, there are some small tricky things we had to do to get the sedan computer to accept the coupe xenons, but after some rewiring, they work with no errors.
