Black cars pic request...

Hey guys with black M's, can you post some pics? I would love to switch my order to black but I'm worried about swirls. I hand wash mine and use microfiber cloths but still have some faint swirls but since it's silver you can't really tell. How does the BSM hold up?? Thanks!

A shot of an M3 and M4 that were here a few days ago. I also have a BSM M4. Swirls don't happen as long as you properly maintain your microfibers and occasionally wax the car.

I hand wash the car once a week, and wax it every 3rd week of the month. I'm kind of OCD about it lol.

Wow, you're pretty crazy OCD.

M-Perf lip/splitter look so good on BSM.

I try to keep that black looking as clean as possible

& I agree. I would like it a lot more with the bottom lip matched in gloss black!

So far so good, using microfiber and hand washing about every 2-1/2 weeks. I'm not seeing any swirls after 4 months of ownership and 1/2 dozen washes. Other colors are naturally easier to maintain but I really liked this car in BSM.

Had mine repolished free of charge under warranty. Easiest conversation I ever had with a BMWNA rep. He saw it, said no sweat.

Car looks fantastic. Do not pay what others are paying for, for a paint correction.

Pm me if you want more details

Did a full clear bra front and on CF roof, and Cquartz on everything else not covered including wheels. No swirls after 5 mos and cleaning is a breeze.

I agree with what everyone said above. Have to hand wash it weekly using the two-bucket method and I protected mine with C Quartz as well which adds another layer or protection on the paint. There is NOTHING hotter than a clean black car.

Nothing looks better than black when it's clean!

As long as you hand wash and use appropriate tools (especially when drying), you should prevent most swirls.

I've also found that the paint on these cars are so much better than some other brands of cars that I've had in the past.
