Has a nice front end which looks fairly accurate based on spypics. Grille, headlights and bumper work well. Side crease gives aggressive stance.

However, the 2nd picture isnt working well at all. Needs more work around the front wheelarch and the rear is just guesswork since it has heavy camoflague in spypics. Rear looks quite lazy too.

I cant wait to see the new CLK though, spypics are promising!

From front to side view, it looks like the 2 door Honda accord to me.

Audi called. They want their side crease back. (The lower one)

So did BMW. Apparently they felt like copying the upper character line.

The design is okay in a conservative sense. There aren't any flaws so to say, but the whole thing is one mass of blandness. Barring the headlights, I could easily mistake for something else. Mercedes needs to work on brand recognition.

They gave up on brand recognition. Instead of trying to keep similar design themes in their model lineup, they just increase the tri-pointed star by 25% or more with each generation....

True. I picked up on the copied Audi and BMW creases. I agree there arent any flaws, front actually looks nice. Overall, lazy though and quite bland in 2nd pic. Spypics look more promising.

Looks like the beancounters had some input into the backseat headroom. Not overly thrilled about those pics.

OMG I KNEW I HAD SEEN THIS WHEN I SAW A CAMO'D CAR COME OUT OF MERCEDES OF LAGUNA NIGUEL YESTERDAY!

I'VE SEEN THE CAMO'D VERSION OF THIS THING, AND YES.....THE PICTURES ABOVE ARE SOMEWHAT ACCURATE.

The exhuast is the same as what i saw, head lights were one sinlge piece though, and it was an odd looking machine. But so are most camo'd cars.

omg man, i've thought this for so long now! Whenever I see a mercedes at night, i dont even know its a mercedes until the car drives next to me or something. They have nothing that is unique to them.

At night, when you see a set of LED rods in the tail lights, or angel eyes in the head lights.......you know its a BMW. But nothing like that goes for mercedes. Matter of fact, even their xenons are cloudy and dull.......and lets not forget their all chromed out inner head light assembly too. But even with all that said....i still wouldn't mind a C63 or an E63

Completely agree. The headlights are crammed with chrome and they look like cannons...which is kinda cool at first site...but now it's just overkill. Regardless, like you said, I definitely wouldn't mind owning a C/E63.

renderings means they are just depictions and interpretations of what its supposed to look like, based on spy photos of camo'd cars, and press releases about certain details the car is supposed to have.

So yes, its just some computer drawing, nothing real. But couldnt you tell that already? From the lexus head lights, to the toyota solara body? haha jk

actually, i can tell when a mercedes is behind me at night if it's an SL or E class, since they have two round headlights. But the rest of them.....i have to stare at the SHAPE of the headlights for a few seconds before i know what it is.....THAT IS of course if the xenons aren't all dull and clouded up. For some reason, mercedes headlights look a bit fogged up and dull when they're on at night. The light isnt sharp and defined, or really that blue either
