Questions on registering your car in Oregon!!

If i wanted to register my car in Oregon (to avoid sales tax), what would the requirements be? Do i only need an address or I do need a oregon driver's liscense? what do i need to do in order to regsiter my car in Oregon? I am not going to driver this car other states... i'm planning to export this car from Oregon to another country. Has anyone done this before?

You need to have residency in OR...that means residential address/drivers license/business address....

If she lives in Oregon, why the hassle....just ask her to buy it under her name. Unless you mean otherwise....since I don't see the logic or sense here...maybe you can buy it, transfer to gf as gift, wait for IRS.

yeah she lives in seattle, hence the hassle, but if worth about 600-1000 dollers. Would you have to transfer via free? or could you just sel at cost?

It sounds like what you're planning to do is seriously illegal.

A) You're openly asking about committing fraud on a public forum.

AND

B) You've stated you're "exporting to another country" commonly known as "floating" a car - BMW NA doesn't allow sales for this for a multitude of reasons.

You might want to rethink this.
