Where are all the M3s?
I'm not sure if this is a Montreal-specific thing, but I've seen over 8 different M4s yet I have yet to see an M3 in the flesh (other than at the car show)
Are the M3s really not selling as well as M4s? Or maybe people around here prefer the AWD S AMGs for their four-door saloons... Either way I am not happy |

Sales will not approach 50/50 but they werent intended to. The real question is whether BMW can or will increase manufacturing of the M3 so that supply can meet the demand. Then we'd see exactly how many will sell relative to the M4. (My guess is still likely fewer, but....would be interesting to see....)

It seems to be region specific. I haven't seen a single M3 on the road in UK. They are the least popular after coupe and convertible. Judging from this forum it's a completely different story in US. Different markets, different expectations.

I actually haven't seen a single f8x car in Ottawa yet (other than two at the dealer), though I know there is at least 1 M3 in town. I may just not be looking hard enough.

I probably see about 10 M4s for every M3 in LA.... but frankly I'm amazed by how few of either I see here. Especially given the fact that every 5th car here is a $100k Tesla now.
