Rockford Fosgate T3-BMW2

Hi,
Just wanted to know if I can use an external amplifier to drive the above speakers?

If so how do I connect it to my amplifier speaker output?

What you do depends on what you start with

What you do depends on what you start with
There are three basic sound system types and they have
nothing to do with what type of head unit or Nav/idrive you have.

Also there are a limited amount of speaker that fit in these cars
do to thin doors and under seat enclosures.

You would be better of with a three speaker kit from Jehnert. Gladen. MBQuart
Rainbow or some of the others mentioned in the speaker section of the first document.

If you want local help I suggest getting in contact with this guy.

He will at least give you better advice than most shops.
There are some shops out there that will really mess you up if you
don't have the knowledge of what is possible and what is good.

The other place that seem to know how to do these in England
is

Hi,

Thanks for all the link, but my car is the BMW F10 and not the E series. All I wanted to know is if anyone is running the Rockford speakers with an external amplifier?

The sound systems are pretty much the same.

The sound systems are pretty much the same
between models.
So what applys to 3 series is going to pretty much
apply to the 5 series.
I suggest you contact Makann00 if you want to do your
car right and/or study the links.

Those speakers are overpriced
Also they have low power rating.
A kit like the following for a base system would beat the pants of them
and be a much better deal.

So why are you asking this in the E-chassis forum?
