I see from your other thread a deposit was left for this and exhaust but you mentioned the other member had car problems and couldn't complete the sale so is this still up for sale? would you post?

All if cupraraj agrees to sell this to either of you can you please let me know? He still has the deposit I left for this and the exhaust. As some of you know my car is currently in the garage in pieces after my timing chain broke and destroyed my engine which unfortunately means I'm not in the position to complete this sale. I offered to buy just the diffuser as i have already paid half his asking price in the deposit but I've had no response.

coincidence that the day you decide to come your engine goes while on the way when I waited around for you the day before when you said you were coming but didn't show up. ive lost money already holding it for you and I don't think the others who shown interest will buy it now for what they offered so don't think Im being unfair at all? |

I messaged you the day before the agreed collection date (16th June) as I was free and said I could collect earlier. Why would I do that if I was going to use my car troubles as an excuse?? Also we agreed 8pm the evening of 15th June so I'm not sure how you waited around all day? Since my engine went I've been asking if you'll just do a deal on the diffuser as I was no longer in a position to buy the exhaust. So how have I left it 3 months?? Edit: I'm trying to compromise by still buying the diffuser from you, which you're clearly willing to sell separately but you're not interested. Based on these facts I don't think I'm being unreasonable to ask we either do a deal on the diffuser or you refund the payment I already sent you. |

I'm still interested once this issue is resolved. @broken engine - I've been in a similar situation and assuming PayPal can't help there's a .gov tool where you can submit a claim for money owed online

money owed?
it happens everywhere...even when selling anything. you leave a deposit and act like your interested. you become hard to get hold of and don't show up to buy. the seller then loses other future interest as its declared sold and by the time the seller gets to sell it properly he takes a loss and sells for less than what he was getting offered before. im not no con-man or someone being unfair left a deposit and didn't show up or buy so you lose the deposit. is that wrong? |

Also I left a £50 deposit for 2 items totalling £300 - although I'm not in a position to buy the exhaust I have openly said I'll still buy the diffuser and you didn't reply to me. So whilst I'm still willing to complete part of the deal you won't and you're keeping my money?? It's a shame it's come to this and as I've said for the past couple of weeks id still like to do deal on the diffuser - I just really could do without the alternative at the minute. If you don't want to sell me the diffuser you know you won't have trouble selling it on here as the never come up so just refund me. |
