Fuel pump recall

Old news.

Yes 2 series with build dates between 10/7/2013 and 3/5/2014 are in the recall.

Mine is too. But dealer won't do the recall until we get a letter from BMWNA.

Had an odd fuel pump issue a couple of days ago. Ran the tank to 20 miles left and I could hear the pump running every 5-10 seconds until I filled it up.

A Very low fuel level could cause the pump inlet to unport (suck air).
