Replaced amplifier on my f30 for a used one it says its not coded for the vehicle
hi, i had a problem with my hk amplifier on my f30 335i, so i buyd i used one on ebay it has the same connectors and its an amplifier for harman kardon sound, my car has hk sound also...the used amplifier was removed from a 328i or 328d, so the thing is i scanned my car and it says the amplifier its not coded for the vehicle... can this amplifier be coded/reprogrammed to my car.... ? i really need to know.. the used one has diferent part number but its the same thing... please help.

Yes, if its the Harman Kardon Amplifier it needs to be programmed to you car via the dealers ISTA system.
This is programming not coding, so dealer has to do it. It is not required for the lower end ones.
