Does anybody know how is the B48 and B58 engine introduction affecting the 2 series?... Is it going to be effective since MY2016?...

220 to 225?
228 to 230?
235 to 240?

The conventional wisdom is that these changes will happen for the 2017 model year (commencing with July 2016 production).

Thank you Mike, I just found a very good deal on a used 2015 220i and I was wondering if I should wait a couple of months for a 2016 model or potential improvements that could be shared with the 3 series refresh.

You're going to be looking at least 18 months... It's a 2017 model!

Plus it's only rumours. So you could wait 12 months till announcement and nothing changed
