This one was for a 428gc but should be the same for other models.

Tools
5/16 socket
T20 hex
Black tape or black plastidip

So the diffuser has tabs that connects to the bumper...3 taps on each side & 6 taps center. Also there are screws at the bottom (2 each side-5/16 socket and 3 in center-t20 hex).

Remove all the screws and pull the tabs off the bumper. You can start on either side.

Side notes:
If you plan to replace rear reflectors and/or exhaust tips...this is the time to do it when the diffuser is off

Ones removed, have the new diffuser ready by installing the mesh with the clips....fold the outer edges

For my car (428 xdrive GC), the passenger side has a tank (or whatever it is) thats painted bodycolor. You'll need to paint this section black so that the body color cant been seen from the mash opening

I use plastidip, did 3 coatings
U can use black tape and tape it up

Now install the new diffuser

Just line it up and push in to connect the tabs

Reinstall the screws

Done

Haha.. humble guy - even if something else was posted, a lot of times there are some details missed. I love having multiple DIYs floating around covering the same thing because I'm gonna read 'em all regardless

This is something I wanna do down the road sometimes, so I really appreciate this!
