Good quality tint shop in GTA?

Anyone have any recommendations for a reliable tint shop in the GTA? The closer to Markham the better.

And any comments of whether to get Crystalline, Suntek, or Huper Optik for the extra cost? Or is Pinnacle or 3M Colour Stable good enough?

Getting it done through the dealer is easiest, but am a little concerned about the quality of the film they will use.

you will pay double if done at dealer and sometimes you end up getting an inferior brand and quality finish as well.

Huper is extremely high priced compared to other ceramic film, the last time I checked, there are only a few installer in the Ontario, one being Lakeshore Krown and the price they wanted back then was about $500+taxes while the other ceramic film, like Pinnacle was about $300+taxes.

Autolinks which I have used many times in the past still give very good price. You are looking at about $325+taxes for their ceramic tint job.

I have pinnacle on my current car. It is No bad, but wondering if the others are worth the extra money.

If I get it done at the dealer I can get it for about $200. It would be more convenient, but I worry that the film they might use would be of the lowest quality.

I know of crown, but hadn't heard of AutoLinks. I'll take a look at them.

Not really any advantage for other "better" tints. I had pinnacle, and also have Lumix (sp?) Anyway, as long as it's ceramic, non-metalic, and is professionally installed, then you are good. My M4 was done at the dealer for free, but only driver side and passenger side windows. Rear quarters and rear windows were tinted from the factory. My Subaru was done at RestyleIt. Flawless job on the Subaru.

Give Thornhill Tints a try. Did 1 or 2 of my rides there and was really happy with the end results.

Autolinks is a great shop. John is a good guy and he's done a few of my cars and a number of friends cars.

As for tints. Pinnacle F1 is probably the best you need to get. No need to get the Huper etc. Like Redfox said...just get ceramic tints.

Thanks for all the responses so far. I'll look into Auto Links for sure, and I like the idea of a mobile guy - saves me the worry of dropping my car off into the hands of someone else.

I believe thornhill tints is what BMW Autohaus uses as well. I got my M4 done there, very good job. only around $300.

Yes. I had it done there twice. No complaints. Price for ceramic was $375 at the time + taxes. About $50 more than other shops, like Auto Links.

Would I go again ? Unlikely as Auto Links has better customer service (after installed) for any issues, imo.

I know Maranello BMW uses Lazer tint for their services.
